Step 2: Ask specific questions

"Is AAPL cheap versus its own P/E history?" gets a more useful answer than "Is AAPL a good investment?"

Step 3: Ask for the source

Follow up with: which number on the stock page is it using, and from what date?

Step 4: Verify on the stock page

Open the stock page (for example yrobot.us/stocks/AAPL) and check the fair value, P/E and date. If they differ, trust the page, and tell us.

Step 5: Ask for the downside case

Ask: "What would make this estimate wrong?"
