How to Read the Monthly Valuation Report

Step 1: Open the latest report

Go to yrobot.us/reports and open the newest monthly valuation report. Check the month in its title first.

Step 2: Read the summary table

Read the date and the universe of stocks covered before anything else.

Step 3: Use the lists as a starting point

The lists are a research starting point, not a shopping list. Open each name's stock page and check it (see the guide on checking a stock).

Step 4: Check the CAPE and regime section

This section shows market valuation and sentiment, and ties to the guide on reading the market regime.

Step 5: Compare month to month

Look at what changed since the previous report, and why.

What this can't tell you

Which names go up. A discount to estimated fair value can persist or widen.
